It was a fantastic day to celebrate Stonehenge’s 45th Anniversary at the Summerlee Science Building Atrium at the University of Guelph on June 28. Many former clients, staff and Board members came out to celebrate – it was great to see so many faces from the past. Guests got a real feel for the history of the organization, and it’s impact, by viewing the many easels filled with heartfelt, personal stories for our theme of ’45 Stories for 45 Years’. Special guests included Guelph MPP Liz Sandals, Garry Male of the Guelph Police Service (to receive the Stonehenge Community Partner Award) and author Robert Munsch. We thank all of our story contributors who shared their personal stories, some of whom read them out at the celebration. We continue to fundraise for our programs throughout 2016, so please consider hitting the “Donate” button on our website to make a donation.
