Stonehenge Therapeutic Community was founded in 1971 as a small, farm-based residential treatment program for men and women with a history of acute or chronic substance use issues. Since these modest beginnings, Stonehenge has expanded to offer a wide scope of both residential and community-based treatment options in order to service more diverse needs. With almost 50 years of experience, we are proud of our roots in the community.
As a not-for-profit, Ministry-funded agency, our programs are accessible to anyone with a health card. Our contracts with provincial and federal corrections programs allow us to provide service to those coming out of the correctional system. Our community-based programs reach out to those needing housing, those in the courts, or those just needing help accessing various health services.
