Stonehenge Therapeutic Community (STC) is proud to share that we have achieved Accredited status through Accreditation Canada’s Qmentum Global™ program.
This milestone reflects our organization-wide commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, and person-centred care across all of our services.
What Accreditation Means
Accreditation is a rigorous, independent review process that assesses organizations against national standards for quality and safety.
Achieving Accredited status means that STC has met evidence-informed standards across areas such as:
- Governance and leadership
- Clinical care and service delivery
- Risk management and safety
- Continuous quality improvement
It also reflects the strength of our teams and the consistency of care and support provided across our programs.
A Collective Achievement
This achievement represents years of work across the organization.
Staff from every program and department contributed by reviewing and strengthening policies, embedding best practices, and bringing forward examples of the high-quality work happening every day at STC.
We are proud of the way our teams came together throughout this process with a shared focus on learning, improvement, and excellence.
Our Commitment to Continuous Improvement
Accreditation is not a one-time event. It is part of an ongoing commitment to continuously strengthen the care and support we provide.
The accreditation process helps us identify what we are doing well and where we can improve. We will continue to use these insights to:
- Enhance quality and safety across all programs
- Strengthen the experience of the people we serve
- Support our teams in delivering responsive, person-centred care
Thank You
We extend our sincere thanks to our staff, partners, and community.
