Overview of Stonehenge Programs

Stonehenge Therapeutic Community was founded in 1971 as a long-term residential treatment program for men and women with a history of acute and chronic substance abuse. Over the years, Stonehenge has expanded to offer a wide scope of addiction treatment options to service those seeking residential or community-based support . We are proud to offer the following addiction treatment programs and services;

Residential Programs

  • Long-term Residential Addiction Treatment for Women (4-6 months)
  • Long-term Residential Addiction Treatment for Men (4-6 months)
  • Residential Opioid Substitution Treatment Program
  • Residential Addiction Treatment Program for Pregnant Women
  • Correctional Programs:
    • Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) – 13 residential beds for male and female federal offenders
    • Ministry of the Solicitor General (SOLGEN) – 10 residential beds for male and female provincial offenders
  • Fee-For-Service Option for Residential Treatment
  • Friends & Family Support Group (monthly group)
  • Aftercare Support Group (weekly group)

Community Programs

  • Addiction Court Support
  • Addiction Counselling – Community Justice Program (ACCJ)
  • Addiction Support Coordination
  • Community Withdrawal Support Service (CWSS)
  • Drug Treatment Court
  • Let’s Grow Together (weekly support group for pregnant & parenting women)
  • Peer2Peer Overdose Response (P2P)
  • Rapid Access Addiction Medicine Clinics (RAAM)
  • Rural Wellington Addiction Service (RWAS)
  • Safer Supply Program (SSP)
  • Specialized Outreach Services (SOS)
  • Supportive Addiction & Mental Health Housing (SAMH)

For those who don’t live near Guelph, Stonehenge uses the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) for secure and private video-conferencing for referrals, assessments, and case coordination.
