Donate Securities:
A donation of securities or mutual funds is an efficient way to give charitably. Since capital gains taxes don’t apply, Stonehenge receives the full fair market value when the security is sold, and you get a tax receipt which reflects your larger contribution. When will I get my charitable receipt?
All donations over $25.00 are eligible for a charitable receipt. Charitable receipts are processed and emailed immediately upon donating digitally. If you do not receive this receipt please reach out so we can get that to you. If you have mailed or given us a cash donation, receipts will be mailed in the February following the donation. If you have any questions about our donation process, please contact us for more information.
What if I can only donate a couple of dollars?
Every donation counts, and every donation adds up. In fact, it’s donations like these that help support our community and allow us to give back to our clients, and programs. Don’t underestimate your impact and your generosity!
How do I know my donation is making an impact?
All donations go straight to supporting programs, initiatives and our clients. If you’d like to follow your donations impact, and hear more about our stories of success please send an email to cnevard@stonehengetc.com . Our Donations Coordinator will be sure to keep you in the loop.
Can I make a cash or cheque donation?
Of course! Our front desk is open Monday- Friday 8:30-4:30. Please make cheques out to Stonehenge Therapeutic Community. Either bring cash or mail your donation to:
