The 10 Shelldale Permanent Supportive Housing program is designed to provide support for people with complex substance use and concurrent mental health needs who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or who are considered inadequately housed. Stonehenge Therapeutic Community, in partnership with Kindle Communities, and the Guelph Community Health Center, provides 32 Permanent Supportive Housing Units with support at the 10 Shelldale site.
In the 10 Shelldale Program, individual participants live in their own individual unit within a Supportive Housing Building and have access to various supports which could include; Primary Care, Nursing, Case Management, Counselling, Peer Support and ability to participate in a wide variety of programming and groups onsite. The program operates from a harm reduction philosophy and clients agree to engage in other activities which support their goals. 10 Shelldale program participants are strongly encouraged to stay engaged in the program and to work towards making self-identified positive changes that improve their health and well-being.
